Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience applying complex accounting guidance in a financial‑services environment
• Proven ability to interpret technical standards and translate them into practical guidance for diverse business teams
• Strong analytical and research skills with experience evaluating new or evolving accounting requirements
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple groups and influence decision‑making in a structured organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting technical topics to non‑technical audiences
• Demonstrated success managing multiple deadlines and adapting to changing regulatory or business needs
• 4 - 8 years of experience
Responsibilities
• Develop and refine accounting guidance to support U.S. financial reporting practices
• Analyze emerging standards and assess their implications for business activities and reporting processes
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate interpretation of accounting rules across new transactions and products
• Support the preparation and review of financial disclosures to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Create and deliver educational materials to help teams understand policy updates and technical developments
• Participate in initiatives relating to new products, regulatory changes, and process enhancements
• Promote strong governance by helping maintain effective controls supporting accounting and reporting
• Work closely with colleagues across regions to ensure consistent application of accounting frameworks
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in policy management, reporting quality, and operational effectiveness
